Source release

A source release is a fixed, identified version of a source dataset accepted into a product. Tying each fact to a release makes later research reproducible even when the live public portal changes.

What a release records

A Quoin release retains source identity, retrieval and archive timing, record identifiers, file hashes, and the account binding used for served facts. Only the approved current release for a source can be served.
