Building permit
A building permit is an agency record for authorized or reviewed work under the permit program. Permit issuance does not prove that work was completed or that a property now complies with every code requirement.

Property relationship
A permit can link exactly by SSL or remain shared-building, multi-parcel, or proximity context. The relationship scope must stay with the record.
Research limit
Review the official permit record and its status. Use inspection, certificate, agency, and physical evidence when the question concerns completion or compliance.
