glossary
Assessed value
Assessed value is a value reported in a property tax assessment for a stated tax year and stage. It should not be presented as an undated estimate of current market value.
Start freeRequired context
A useful assessment record includes the account, value, tax year, stage, source release date, and status. Prior, current, and proposed values answer different questions.
Verified DC release example
The current Quoin DC source release carries tax year 2025 prior, tax year 2026 current, and tax year 2027 proposed assessment fields from the official ITSPE extract. It does not treat the proposed stage as final.
Limit
Assessed value is not a Quoin appraisal or an independently verified market value. A current valuation requires evidence and assumptions suited to that task.
