Get property snapshot
The property snapshot is a compact first look at a resolved D.C. tax account. It combines core account facts without replacing focused history tools or professional diligence.
Start freeWhen to use it
Use for a lender-oriented collateral quick look: identity, decoded classification, owner of record, assessments, taxes/balances, special assessments, quality flags, and a slim latest-transfer summary.
Use after resolving identity when a concise collateral overview is more useful than an exhaustive nine-section response.
Input contract
These inputs and limits are pinned to the production v0.4.6 server contract. Omitted optional values use the documented defaults.
| Input | Contract |
|---|---|
| ssl | optional; string; min length 1; max length 32 |
| address | optional; string; min length 2; max length 160 |

"ssl": "0107--0075"
}Response and verification
Successful sourced responses preserve effective dates, typed null meaning, source references, quality flags, and exact-versus-contextual property-link scope.
Use the display-ready sources for a visible Source or Verify action. Responses return each field with a source reference that can be checked against the official portal. See Source citations and verification for the evidence format.
Limits
- The serving entity is a tax account, not necessarily one physical parcel.
- The transfer summary is intentionally slim.
- Reported values and owners are sourced facts, not legal or appraisal conclusions.
